Description

The DM16L the programmer's calculator designed to display and work with numbers in hexadecimal, decimal, octal and binary, and convert numbers from one base to another. It provides a wealth of specialized functions, including left- and right-shifting, masking, and bitwise logical operations.

Comes with genuine leatherette pouch.

DM16L calculator features

  • Integer and floating point math.
  • Selectable word size up to 64bits
  • Shift functions: left and right, arithmetic and logical.
  • Rotate functions: Rotate a single position or n positions left or right, through carry or not.
  • Left justify the bits of a word.
  • Masking: Create masks to mask left or right n bits.
  • #B: return the number of bits set in a word
  • Multiply/Divide: Provides functions for multiplying single precision numbers into single precision or double precision results. Likewise, allows single or double precision dividends.
  • Bitwise Logic: and, or, not, xor
  • Bit setting and testing
  • Flag setting and testing: (user flags and overflow/carry)

Firmware V33, released in December of 2024, has brought significant enhancements:

  • 2-Line Display, including opcodes in PGM mode
  • Verbalized error messages
  • Setup Menu for easy access to configuration items
  • Function preview / cancel (similar to HP-41)
  • Expanded RAM for larger programs or more storage available in Firmware versions ending with MC0
  • Enhanced SHOW mode lets you see all digits in HEX, OCT, and DEC modes
